Send an invitation
The user receives a link or code. The person receiving help does not need to log in to our system.
The person needing help knocks from their computer. You accept, see their screen once they approve, and solve the issue where it happened, without asking them to describe a dialogue box in words.
Remote assistance follows one principle: the user decides. No session starts without a knock, and no screen is visible until the person at the computer approves. An unnecessary invitation can be revoked before it is used.
There are two versions of the assistance app. People who only need help download the small app. People who run meetings and help others use the desktop app, with contacts and incoming requests in the same window.

The assistance app opens, prepares the computer and lets the user choose Knock. You can see that someone is waiting.
The user is notified that you have accepted and approves screen sharing in the app. Only then does their screen become visible.
When you are done, the session closes. The link cannot be reused.
